Nirvana Food Safety Procedures

To Our Nirvana Guests and Community

We wanted to take a moment to let you know that your health and safety are top of our mind amid concerns about the spread of the Coronavirus. We are following updates and guidelines by the Health Department and other agencies, and we continue to implement the following health and safety procedures at our restaurant:

● Sanitizing.
Restaurant is sanitizing all surfaces that people touch with increased frequency (especially tables, counter/bar tops, stalls and surfaces in the bathroom, menus, all door handles, and terminals) using disinfectant certified to kill Coronaviruses.
We have rolled out hand sanitation in premises for convenience and safety of our guests.

● Hand Washing.
Our Employees follow strict hand washing policies, which include requiring employees to wash their hands at least every 30 minutes (for at least 20 seconds) with soap and water.  We ensure all soap dispensers have hand soap and paper towels present at all times and have signs posted in restrooms to remind guests of frequent and thorough hand washing.

● Gloves.
Our employees will continue to wear plastic gloves when prepping any ready to eat foods and change gloves at least every 15 minutes, or more frequently as needed.

Employees exhibiting any signs of sickness are prohibited from working.

We are closely monitoring information from public health officials and will continue to follow their prevention guidelines to help keep our restaurant clean and our community safe.

The Health and safety of our guests and our employees remains our highest priority.

Nirvana Management
